The Brief
Yellow Llama is a local restaurant that I built a website for during my COOP class at PCC. When I talked to them about the website, they wanted something that would be easy to update. Thus, I decided that using a CMS, WordPress in this case would be the way to go. Some of the features of the site include a fully responsive and a menu that is easy to customize, a slideshow, and a social media feed.

Challenges
Although this was technically a project for a class in PCC, I did the work with almost no supervision from an instructor. I have not worked independently for a client prior to this class. To be more specific, some of the tasks that I have not done in the past include having a detailed conversation with a client about the website, listening to a client's feedback in terms of the website, as well as providing a training documentation.

Lessons
Working on this project helped me to understand how working with a client works. It taught me the importance of communication. It also allowed me to try different things I have not done before such as including a social media feed which is an important feature for websites in the food industry. I was also able to create a detailed documentation as well as provide training for the client so that they are able to maintain and update their website as necessary.
